梅雨、明けましたね！今年は予期せぬ早さで明けてしまい、びっくりしました。

・・ということは、本格的な夏がいつもより早く始まります。レッスン中はいろいろなアクテビティを行っていますので、夢中になっていると子どもたちは汗だくになることも。途中小休憩の時間なども設けますので、ハンカチや、水分補給のための飲み物の持参をお忘れなく！

先週末まで、2週にわたり授業参観でレッスン見学をしていただきました。おかげさまで多くの保護者の方々にご参加いただき、様々なご感想もいただくことができました。

いつもと違う状況で泣いてしまうお子さんが出てしまったり張り切りすぎるお子様がいたりと、クラスによって時に大変だったようではありますが、保護者の皆さまのご協力もあり、無事に2週間を終えることができました。ありがとうございます。「成長を感じてびっくりしました！」「ちゃんとできているんですね」など、普段家では見せる機会のない一面をご覧いただけたかと思います。また秋ごろには企画したいと思っておりますので、今回ご都合のつかなかった方々もぜひ楽しみにされていてください。

Hydrangeas are nice

July sure is hot these days isn’t it? And it sure has been rainy. When it comes to the summer and rainy season, of course the flower that we all think of are hydrangeas. In my hometown, we also have hydrangeas. They’re not just popular in Japan, they’re popular all over the world. However, in my hometown, the rainy season comes earlier than in Kagoshima, so we think of hydrangeas as summer flowers, not as rainy flowers. In fact, instead of seeing a hydrangea with a snail as the image, in Michigan, you may see one with many bees and butterflies. These bugs are called pollinators, and they are very important for the environment.
